WHAT MY STUDENTS SAY

Vijay Rege
Vijay Rege
1600 => 2100
Vijay Rege began working with me in 2023 with a chess rating of approximately 1600. Through consistent training, dedication, and a strong commitment to improvement, he has made remarkable progress over the course of our coaching journey. After completing more than 65 training sessions, Vijay has increased his standard rating to 2111, achieving an impressive gain of over 500 rating points. His development reflects not only hard work but also a deeper understanding of positional play, calculation, opening preparation, and endgame technique. Vijay's progress serves as an excellent example of what can be achieved through structured training, disciplined study, and a genuine passion for chess. I am proud to have been a part of his journey and look forward to seeing his continued success in the future.

1850=>1900 FIDE
I’m 39 years old, and I started from a FIDE rating of 1850 when I met Mihailo. I’ve been playing my whole life and have bought the occasional course whenever I felt especially motivated to improve. But I felt that, in order to get closer to 2000, I was going to need something more. Perhaps help from someone who knows what it takes to break through that barrier; a different approach. I now have a 1896 rating in classical chess (a 50-point increase despite having little time to play classical tournaments), and in my next tournament I hope to break 1900. And the rating matches how I feel: I believe I’m at my best chess-wise thanks to Mihailo’s help: very confident in the opening, consistent in the middlegame — while trying to play more sharply — and more reliable in endgames, where I’ve always tended to throw away many games. That’s why the goal of reaching 2000, which we began working toward a year ago, has never felt so realistic.

The training is characterized by a highly professional approach in every aspect, with clear communication, punctuality, and excellent organization. The modern approach to training, combined with the use of advanced tools and technology, provides excellent conditions for continuous improvement. Since starting these training sessions, I have been making consistent progress, and I am very satisfied with the results. I definitely plan to continue the training long-term and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their chess.
